The Lesaffre group is today present in more than 190 countries and is considered internationally as the undisputed leader in the Yeast & Bread-making sector. Lesaffre is also a key player in its second business field, Health & Nutrition, which includes three separate activities: human, animal and plant health.

Our business activities As a result of its outstanding knowledge of yeast, yeast extracts and their different applications, Lesaffre has today become a dynamic key player in the human, plant and animal health market. Thanks to products such as probiotic yeast and functional ingredients, the group is committed to rigorously meeting the needs of industrial companies in the food sector, cosmetic and pharmaceutical laboratories or flavour specialists, in addition to those of producers of functional foods for animals.
