Production Management

    •    Lead the drying shift to ensure production continuity and product quality.

    •    Coordinate workflow with other units for seamless operations.

    •    Control and monitor machines and equipment within the department.

    •    Ensure all production steps meet internal quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Shift Handover & Documentation

    •    Conduct proper handover from previous shift, including reporting on production quantities, quality, and any issues encountered.

    •    Follow up on the previous shift’s checklist and log all deviations or abnormalities.

Process Supervision

    •    Oversee all drying operations

    •    Monitor and ensure adherence to permitted process limits, intervening and recording any abnormalities.

    •    Back up operators during breaks to ensure production continuity.

Material & Recipe Management

    •    Ensure the availability of raw materials and place warehouse orders to maintain a minimum of 3 days’ stock.

    •    Enter and track raw material consumption during recipe preparation

    •    Prepare production recipes based on Raw Material quality and review production graphs versus recipe targets.

Quality Control & Sample Analysis

    •     Insure implementation of control plan.

    •    Conduct dust analysis (dry matter, quantity) to prevent dust collector blockages.

     •    Take samples and deliver to laboratory.

    •    Follow up on lab results and issue reports, update SAP with outputs accordingly.

Packaging & Order Scheduling
    •    Track packaging output (number of cartons) to align with production schedules and sales orders.

Cleaning & Hygiene
    •    Supervise housekeeping and hygiene according to the dry shop floor checklist.
    •    Distribute cleaning and housekeeping tasks among cleaners to ensure efficiency.

    •    Implement and oversee CIP (Clean-In-Place) processes.

    •    Follow cleaning protocols to minimize microbiological risk; ensure all steps are properly registered and critical areas are isolated when necessary.

Safety Compliance
    •    Enforce all safety rules and immediately report unsafe conditions to the unit head, factory manager, and safety officer.
    •    Monitor and report any unsafe or non-compliant jobs in the unit.

Maintenance Coordination
    •    Follow up with the maintenance team in the event of any downtime affecting production.

System & Reporting Responsibilities
    •    Create and manage process orders on SAP.
    •    Adjust actual consumption rates versus SAP Bill of Materials (BOM).
    •    Send traceability sheets to the Quality team for documentation and audits.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, food science.

Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in the food industry, preferably in production or process operations

Technical Skill:

  •  Proficiency in SAP systems, especially in production modules.
  •  Strong understanding of food processing, drying technology, and quality control procedure.

Technical Competencies:

  •  Dry production processes and pneumatic conveying systems.
  • Knowledge of food safety and microbiological risk prevention.
  • Handling and analysis of process-related samples.
  • Housekeeping supervision based on defined standards.
  • Preventive maintenance coordination and reporting.
  •  Familiarity with CIP systems and documentation.

Lesaffre Egypt for yeast industries is an Egyptian joint stock company for producing baking yeasts and yeasts extract. We are 100% owned by the holding company and part of Middle East & Africa baking region.

Lesaffre Egypt was established according to the Investment Guarantees and Incentives Law No. 8 of 1997, and registered in the Commercial Registry Office of Cairo Investment authority under No. 65570 on April, 14, 2013.

Our main operational purpose is to establish, manufacture, and package yeasts, yeast derivatives, and yeasts extracts. These many forms and types are then used within food products, animal feed, bread-making and bread improvers, flavorings, colors, and enzymes.

In October 2014, Lesaffre Egypt for yeasts industry (S.A.E) began effectively managing the acquired company.

Lesaffre Egypt’s main office is located in the Giza Governorate of Sheikh Zayed City while the factory is placed in the Nubaryia Industrial Area of El Beheira Governorate. We also have a Baking Center and Logistics Warehouse in 6th of October City. Currently, We employ more than 200 individual.
