  • To support panel team in all sensory evaluation
  • Evaluate food/bakery and related products using their 5 senses (see, taste, smell, touch, hear)
  • To describe and discriminate different intensity and quality between products
  • Discuss in a group of sensory team on characteristics of products
  • Provide constructive feedback to the team
  • To perform ad-hoc duties related to sensory
  • Training will be provided

  • Minimum completed Primary; Secondary
  • Able to converse, write and read English fluently
  • Malaysians and Malaysia PRs Only
  • Must be willing to evaluate all kinds of food/bakery samples
  • Must own a smartphone with camera function
  • Physically fit and no colour blind
  • No food allergies and no dental prostheses
  • No perfumes are allowed
  • Must not be taking medication which affect taste bud
  • Smoking strictly prohibited for at least one hour prior to tasting; no strong smoking odour
  • Positive attitude and team player
  • Courteous personality
  • Tuesday and Thursday afternoon session for screening, briefing and evaluating sessions
  • Renewal of contract is subjected to project basis and individual’s availability

Lesaffre Malaysia is looking for freelance and part time sensory panellist to support our product development for a 6 months committed project.

6 months job commitment (Sep 2025 to March 2026)

RM30 per hour

1. Briefing session (1 hour) + Screening Session (1 hour). 

*Only selected participants will be recruited for expert sensory training.

2. Sensory Expert Training : 

a) End of Sep to Dec 2025 – 23 sessions (1 hour each, every Tue & Thu) (100% attendance) 

b) Jan 2026 – Mar 2026 – 7 sessions (1 hour, every Thursday) (min 90% attendance)
