The Lean/Industry 4.0/Safety Regional Project Leader is responsible to implement, coordinate and report the Lean/"Industry 4.0"/Safety roadmap in its area (Africa/France)

Lean:

  • Responsible for the development lean culture in each subsidiary – define the roadmap
  • Ensure lean implemented is in line with group standard lean approach: participate to lean group community
  • Able to animate (and train on) lean workshops on shop floor topics or admin processes, to lead a VSM and identify potentials of savings
  • Able to guide the local General Managers and Plant Technical Directors on their lean roadmap and initiatives
  • Verify and guarantee that the projects are executed according to the established standards
  • Create KPI’s to follow the implementation at area level
  • Collaborate and maintain coherence with the Safety, Hygiene and Environment regulations and of the Quality System in force in the Company
  • Organize area Steering Committee to report on regional roadmap deployment

Industry 4.0:

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of industrial technology projects, advanced production techniques, digital solutions / "Industry 4.0", in line with global roadmap
  • Prepares technical documentation, develops specifications and monitors the progress of projects
  • Coordinate the activities required in the implementations interacting with the areas of Production, Maintenance, Systems, Quality, Security, External Suppliers, etc.
  • Verify and guarantee that the projects are executed according to the established standards
  • Record and share lessons learned by providing technical support for the roll-out of projects in other plants
  • Stays informed of the latest developments and technological advances in the industry
  • Collaborate and maintain coherence with the Safety, Hygiene and Environment regulations and of the Quality System in force in the Company

Safety:

  • Responsible for the development safety culture in each subsidiary – define the roadmap
  • Ensure safety implemented is in line with group standard lean approach: safety leaders participate to safety group community
  • Verify and guarantee that the projects are executed according to the established standards
  • Create KPI’s to follow the implementation at area level
  • Collaborate and maintain coherence with the Safety, Hygiene and Environment regulations and of the Quality System in force in the Company
  • Organize area Steering Committee to report on regional roadmap deployment

Reporting to the Regional Industrial Director and under the transversal management of Lean/"Industry 4.0/Safety program managers

Qualifications

  • General, food, Technology, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree
  • Postgraduate or Certification in project management (PMP, Prince,…)
  • Minimum of 5-7 years experience in leading lean projects and innovation projects (mindset, …) and namely, lean and Industry 4.0 and safety related projects, preferably in food and beverage (or Pharmaceutical) industrial environment
  • Have experience in lean Manufacturing (5S, TPM, Autonomous Maintenance, SMED, VSM,..etc)
  • Have knowledge in various industrial technology projects : automation, robotics/cobotics, digitization, control systems, data acquisition and supervision, industrial plant monitoring network (SCADA, Radio frequency, connectivity, traceability, etc.), AGV, IOT, MES, …
  • Has some knowledge on safety main standards
  • Knowledge of ISO 9000 / GMP standards
  • Good analytic skills + computer-literate (Advanced Excel skills), Microsoft Office, power BI, Teams, SharePoint)

Fluency in written and spoken French and English is mandatory
