- Health & Safety
- Collaborate with the factory on requisition of all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Ensure production equipment running in safety conditions.
- Ensure required standards of health and safety are maintained in the production area at all times
- Production
- Coordinate the day-to-day running of the production process and supervise quality and safety in production.
- Monitor the operating machines and equipment
- Prepare preparation & production sheet for each batch to produce and guarantee traceability by recording batch number & quantity
- Responsible of the labelling and coding of FG products (verify the accurate printing, usage of right labels according to customer specifications….) on all packing materials
- Transfer of raw material to production on a daily basis and enter the stock documents and ensure the accuracy of stock monitoring
- Supervise the operation follow up work instruction and make recordings.
- Ensure the right realization of the cleaning plan
- Maintenance
- Report to superior and contact maintenance department in time for the production equipment’s problem.
- Follow up maintenance process and check the result.
- Organize intervention of external companies under validation of his superior
- Implement and follow 1st level preventive maintenance with the production team
- Quality
- Follow- up on metrological schedules of machines and equipment.
- Ensure all products meet the required quality and food safety standards.
- Assist in ensuring the required packing and production standards are followed as per the quality management requirements
- Assist in product sampling as requested (in line in control plan and random)
- Ensure required standards of hygiene are always maintained in the production area.
- Assist to handle all requests about non-conformities and deviations.
- Management
- Adjust the FTE needs to the daily production requirements and the loading/unloading of trucks
- Organize the holiday planning
- Keep motivated the team members, work in good cooperation and evaluated them.
- Improve the level of their skills; improve their quality and safety awareness.
- Assign production task according to production plan.
- Lean
- Make proposal for improvement in process flow, equipment and working environment.
- Reporting
- Identify issues and submit reports to Production & Maintenance Manager on performance and progress
- Daily record & report to superior of the stock – RM, FP & packaging materials
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in food processing/agro-industrial technology or in a relevant field
- Knowledge in food safety which includes preparation, handling, and storage of food
- Extensive knowledge of the production processes
