In order to support the growth of our business unit, we are recruiting the Technical Sales Manager Europe, Middle East and Africa. 

In line with Leaf’s commercial strategy, you will develop the sales of value-added yeast products in the segments of 1G and 2G fuel ethanol by leveraging the product and service offer of Leaf. You will be responsible for achieving the sales targets in the designed area and segments.

Sales:

Develop the sales of yeast products to customers, both directly and through distributors to ensure the highest level of sales performance.

Identify, connect, and visit prospects and potential customers, qualify the leads, and address their needs to convert them to Leaf solutions.

Drive the development of business opportunities both internally and externally, prepare the sales offers in accordance with the commercial strategy, negotiate and close the deals.

Monitor the complete sales process and ensure the customer satisfaction at all stages.

Technical services

Visit prospects and existing customers, develop strong relationships, and grow trust based on expertise and reliable technical support.

Provide direct customers with technical support, both on-site and off-site, and ensure best-in-class industrial performances by leveraging the Leaf technical service offer.

Promotion

In collaboration with the Marketing team, prepare presentations for seminars, conferences, tradeshows… and assist the Marketing team in organization seminars and events with customers/distributors. Participate actively to such events.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Sciences (Biotechnologies, Microbiology or other Life Science, alternatively a related field like chemistry, engineering, statistics and mathematics…) or equivalent experience. A qualification in sales is a significant plus.

At least 5 years of experience in a technical position, an experience in sales is a significant plus.

Good statistical skills and experience in using statistics software.

Good oral and written communication skills and education in both English and French.
