Reporting to the MEA Baking Project Manager, this role will be a link between the factories and the MEA Regional Baking Center team:
- Conducting benchmark studies for the MEA region with the Lesaffre quality process to assess performance and characteristics considering:
- Local recipes
- Industrial customers processes
- Providing technical benchmark comparison between Lesaffre yeast products and our competitors for MEA region according to the local markets
- Analyzing yeast quality from different strains:
- To validate alignment with Lesaffre Group quality standards
- To address quality issue to the group quality department and the quality factory department and collaborate with them
- Supporting the regional formulation team by performing flour analyses and quality tests to identify and address potential product issues
- Ensuring follow up of yeast and flour analysis

Ce qui fait de vous le candidat idéal
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering or Associate Degree in Food Technology,
- Minimum 1 year of experience in yeast analysis or new product development in the food/baking industry, preferably in a laboratory,
- Technical expertise in yeast performance evaluation and quality testing,
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills,
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams,
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting,
- Experience in MS Office tools, open to learning new reporting tools,
- Advanced level of written and verbal English,
- Knowledge of local and international regulatory requirements for food products,
- Complete military service for male candidates.

We’re looking for our new « Laboratory Analyst« to be located in the MEA Regional Office based in İstanbul/ Türkiye. This role will be responsible from supporting Baking Center, Sales and Quality teams through conducting different benchmarks and analyses on yeast, baking ingredients and flour.
This role will report to MEA (Middle East & Africa) Baking Project Manager.
