What will your daily life look like?

Function scope

As Chief Financial & Administration Officer and member of the executive committee, you manage the financial and administrative department of Algist Bruggeman. You determine the financial and administrative business objectives within the organisation and ensure their implementation. You think along in terms of the business strategy. In addition, you lead the team of 15 employees within finance, administration and IT.

You report directly to the General Manager.

Missions

·        You define the financial and administrative strategy of the company and you actively participate in the long-term decision-making policy of Algist Bruggeman.

·        You initiate, supervise and monitor the annual budget process, you are responsible for assessing the budget proposals.

·        The financial and liquidity management of the company is under your supervision.

·        You coordinate, optimize and monitor company reporting in terms of determining results, cost prices and budget deviations.

·        You are fully responsible for the financial administration.

·        You actively contribute to the automation of the processes and procedures in the field of finance, administration, IT and communication.

·        You manage the sales administration, from order to delivery, including the logistical process, such as delivery and transport activities.

·        From your general business economic and legal perspective, you monitor market developments and take care of the proactive decision-making policy within the organization in the field of finance and administration.

·        You are responsible for the people management of your departments

·        You coordinate and take care of the external contacts with public authorities, banks and other relations of Algist Bruggeman within your area of responsibility.

·        You support the commercial part of the business from your financial, legal, administrative and logistical background.

·        Your financial/economic degree will be complemented by at least ten years of relevant experience as a financial decision maker within a production environment.

·         Because of your helicopter view, you can think and act across departments.

·        You combine your broad economic, legal, logistical and commercial view with an entrepreneurial and proactive approach.

·        Your people management skills result in bringing together and developing your team

·        Excellent communication skills combined with a strong analytical insight

·        You have an eye for process improvements

·        Your mother tongue is Dutch and you speak fluent French and English.

Algist Bruggeman produces baker's yeast, both for traditional and industrial bakeries, as well as for the private home baker. The baker's yeast is sold in fresh, liquid or dry form.
