What will your daily life look like?

As Commercial Executive, you will contribute to the commercial development of yeast, baking ingredients, and bread improvers on Yemen market. Reporting to the GCC Market Sales Manager, you will make market analysis, sales development, client management, and technical support coordination.

Key responsibilities 

Market intelligence : 

  • Segmenting the market by customer type and product categories
  • Building and maintaining market insight for both yeast and baking ingredients
  • Analyzing competitor products, pricing, and market share
  • Monitoring pricing of wholesalers, bakeries, and retailers
  • Identifying and analyzing the needs of the market
  • Identifying and evaluate new potential clients
  • Representing the company at local and international trade fairs and exhibitions

Market Management : 

  • Contributing to the annual budget planning for your market
  • Achieving assigned sales targets and budgeting objectives
  • Evaluating the qualitative and quantitative impact of marketing initiatives
  • Participating in demand forecasting and sales planning processes

Client’s Management : 

  • Ensuring a strong commercial and technical presence in the market
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with the distributors, wholesalers, industrial and craft bakeries
  • Monitoring distributor stock levels sales performance by ensuring monthly reporting of distributor stock and sales
  • Providing good commercial and technical support to direct industrial customers
  • Developing and following through on action plans with distributors
  • Responding to prospect inquiries and ensure timely feedback

Technical Suport : 

  • Participating in internal technical trainings
  • Developing product knowledge and basic technical baking skills
  • Providing basic technical support to bakeries
  • Coordinating technical missions with the GCC Market Sales Manager
  • Collecting and sending product samples for benchmarking with Gulf Baking Center

That makes you the ideal candidate

You have a bachelor degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field and 3 to 5 years of sales experience in Yemen. An experience in bakery ingredients or B2B ingredient sales would be ideal. 

Technical Skills : 

  • Fluent in Arabic and English
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Knowledge of the Baking Industry will be appreciated

Soft Skills : 

  • Good interpersonal relations, ability for building nice relationships with different partners (distributors, clients)
  • Innovative with a strong desire to achieve
  • Self-motivated, diplomatic, energetic, strong ability to convince
  • Negotiation skills
