What will your daily life look like?
1. Product Demonstrations:
- Conduct informative and compelling product demonstrations to highlight the features, benefits, and applications of our offerings.
- Adapt your presentation style to effectively engage with various customer segments and settings, such as trade shows, retail stores, and customer sites.
- Set up and maintain professional demonstration areas, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and proper product display.
2. Product Knowledge and Technical Support:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of our entire product portfolio, including technical specifications, formulations, and industry applications.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor products, and industry innovations to provide valuable insights to customers.
- Collaborate with the technical team to address customer-specific requirements and provide tailored solutions.
3. Customer Engagement and Sales Support:
- Engage with customers to understand their needs, preferences, and pain points, and provide appropriate product recommendations.
- Address customer concerns and inquiries promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Collect customer feedback and market intelligence to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Contribute to sales objectives by generating product interest and converting demonstration attendees into potential customers.
4. Training and Education:
- Educate customers and retail staff on the proper usage, application, and maintenance of our products.
- Develop and deliver training materials, such as user manuals, instructional videos, and hands-on workshops.
- Share best practices and tips with customers to ensure optimal product performance and results.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of all demonstration activities, including attendance, customer feedback, and sales leads generated.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on demonstration outcomes, market insights, and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to support promotional activities and new product launches.
6. Event Management and Logistics:
- Assist with the planning and execution of product demonstration events, trade shows, and exhibitions.
- Coordinate logistics, such as transportation, setup, and breakdown of demonstration equipment and materials.
- Ensure the availability and proper functioning of all demonstration products and supplies.
7. Quality Assurance:
- Verify that all demonstration products meet the company’s quality standards and safety requirements.
- Report any product issues or defects to the appropriate department for investigation and resolution.
- Maintain consistency in demonstration quality and messaging across all customer interactions.

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales, customer service, or product demonstration role, preferably in the food or baking industry
- Strong understanding of product features, applications, and technical specifications
- Familiarity with the target market and customer base
Technical Skills
- Proficient in using presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint, Keynote) to create engaging and visually appealing product demonstrations
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot various demonstration equipment and tools
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools for product promotion
- Basic understanding of product pricing, inventory management, and order processing

Lesaffre South Africa previously known as Aries Baking Supplies and Bakelab are entities recently acquired by Lesaffre. Reporting to the Baking Centre Manager, you will be responsible for showcasing our products through engaging presentations, maintaining expertise on our product range, and providing technical support to customers. Your key focus will be to generate product interest, educate customers and staff on proper usage, and ensure the quality and safety of all demonstration activities.
