What will your daily life look like?
Within our entity Lesaffre Kenya and reporting directly to the General Manager, you will support the different sales networks in their expansion and map the market with a close focus on our competitors (Sales networks, prices, stock level etc.)
Key responsibilities
Market Knowledge :
- Establishing a data base of clients and potential clients: Distribution, Wholesale, Retailers.
- Getting to know the potential of each of the segments and the main competitor market shares.
- Building a Market database and update it regularly.
- Providing support for the distributors sales forces and evaluating their performance.
- Visiting yeast and ingredients users regularly to identify needs and any potential problems.
- Identifying new Distributors & Wholesalers opening and anticipate their needs.
- Competitive intelligence: knowing the competitor products, their prices and identify new products.
Commercial Development:
- Participating in building a better market readability and a good commercial responsiveness.
- Identifying the customers technical support needs, share them to the Kenya General Manager.
- Reaching the targets defined with the Sales Manager and share the challenges faced.
- Using the sales support tools to upgrade your sales approach.
- Directing the new customers to the right products, capable of providing the best service.
- Guaranteeing Lesaffre products quality image on your market.
- Reporting & Following-up the clients claims and make sure to deliver a reply within a reasonable time frame.
Reporting:
- Sharing weekly visit checklist and establish a formal monthly report.
- Regularly update data base on the CRM software.

Bachelor in sales and marketing or equivalent with an experience of 5 years as a business developer or sales manager.
Technical Skills :
- Knowledge of the BtoC segment in FMCG
- Knowledge of Office 365
- English / Swahili languages
- Driving License
