What will your daily life look like?

Lesaffre is opening a new position to lead and manage the Supply Chain Transformation ambition of the group. This new role will be responsible to develop and execute a transformation plan on supply chain related functions and systems. She or he will have to build strong partnerships with subsidiaries and be responsible to develop a culture of continuous improvement in supply chain area. She or he will serve as a project architect by leading cross-functional projects teams, by monitoring project status and being accountable on deliverables.

Key Accountabilities

–          Serve as global project architect for the transformation plan:

→    guide decentralized project teams from kick-off to completion

→    collect local supply chain initiatives/projects that may serve the global plan

→    identify subject matter experts on supply chain pillars and process to accelerate the transformation

→    ensure that supply chain standards are properly set across the regions and BUs

–          Serve as a coach to develop a relationship of trust, credibility and confidence to the supply chain transformation plan. PM will have to quickly build his own authority towards the team members

–          Assess project plan regarding group IT strategy and propose new tool implementation if needed

–          Drive adherence to the transformation plan (calendar & key milestones) across the different level of the organization and ensure that timely decisions are made

–          Prepare appropriate communication and project reporting (top-down and bottom-up)

–          Ensure compliance to industry best practices through external monitoring, with the support of

 Education

Engineering Degree or MS degree, MBA preferred

Advanced degree such as MBA or master’s degree Supply Chain is preferred.

Experience

10 or more years related experience including 5 years minimum with regional or international responsibilities.

S&OP process and optimization, Logistics Operations Management, global ERP systems, Customer Care, intercompany flow management

5+ years at Manager position level in global Food, Beverage or Pharmaceutical company.

Leadership role in reorganization and/or optimization project of supply chain functions.

Experience in purchasing of manufacturing would be a plus.
