Education : chemical engineer (or equivalent) followed by a PhD.

PhD with 5 to 10 years of experience, preferably in industry. This experience has been acquired in the field of physico-chemical analysis of complexes matrices (such as fermentation mixtures, food matrices, natural products or bioorganic products, microbial biomass) as well as in the field of methods miniaturization, high-throughput screening and automation. Experience in analytical development and data interpretation is preferred.

 Technical competences :

Extensive analytical expertise and command of high-content analytical tools, especially chromatographic techniques (HPLC, GC, LC/MS, GC/MS…), spectrometric techniques (NMR, IR…) as well as sample preparation techniques, data mining and statistical analysis. Good knowledge in organic chemistry and biochemistry. Good ability to synthesize information and present reports. English is fluent. An experience in laboratory informatics, sample preparation, processing and data analysis for metabolomics and proteomics will be a desired plus.
