What will your daily life look like?
Reporting to the Ethiopia General Manager, your main mission will be to guarantee the manufacture of bread improvers and packing of yeasts, in accordance with customer requirements (quality, food safety, lead time). You should optimize the production costs and industrial equipment while complying with safety regulations, staff working conditions and environmental standards.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
Production management
- Establish daily production forecasts based on quantitative production targets and the monitoring of the consumption of ingredients in compliance with the budgeted ratios
- Organize production orders and guarantees deadlines and product availability.
- Ensure the traceability of the entire chain, from raw materials to the final product.
- Develop dashboards for monitoring production, finished products and raw materials and analyses them regularly
Health and safety: ensure the safety and hygiene of working processes and conditions and develops safety culture within the organization and good hygiene practices.
Maintenance: Ensure that industrial equipment and buildings remain in good working conditions and validate the maintenance intervention plans carried out through an external company
Quality :
- Guarantee the availability of the results of controls, measurements and tests defined in the control plan
- Perform audits of suppliers and external service providers
- Investigate customer complaints and non-conformity issues
- Implement the necessary certifications and ensure their daily application
Management: Supervise the production, quality, maintenance teams, participate in recruitment and training, conduct annual interviews.
Investments: propose to the General Manager technical investment projects for the improvement of production processes and organization and implements the selected projects, in liaison with the Regional Industrial Department.
Reporting : ensures the feedback of data and comments for the month-end closing (production, safety, quality, purchase)

Qualification / Experience
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in food processing/ agro-industrial technology or a similar field. Degree in management or business administration is a bonus.
About 7 years of experience in food manufacturing, ideally in bakery products

- Good computer skills (Office 365)
