Job description

Reporting to our CFO in Dubai, you will provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks. You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances.

Main responsibilities:

  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
  • Post/manage accounts receivable entries and provide the credit advice to sales admin team.
  • Preparing the aging report and following up the overdue.
  • Post accounts payable entries through purchase orders and ensure the   3-way match are validated.
  • Ensuring the Customers & Vendors accounts are reconciled.
  • Bank reconciliation activities to be matched with bank statement.
  • Post fixed assets entries by capitalize the new assets and disposals as well.
  • Post accruals & prepaid entries on monthly basis.
  • Manage ledger accounts and petty cash.
  • Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
  • Assist with reviewing of expenses and preparing monthly reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly/yearly closing.
  • Support in providing external auditors requirements.
  • Creation of ad hoc reports.

Qualifications

  • Four years of experience in accounting
  • Strict sense of confidentiality
  • SAP user 
  • Fluent English
