Job description
Part of the Marketing/Communication team of the Business Unit, you produce content ranging from highly marketing-oriented one-liners to much more comprehensive text-based content (articles, brochures, presentations…). To do so, you’ll be working closely with the marketing team as well as R&D, Sales, Fermentis Academy…
Fermentation, beverage-making, microorganisms is an extremely rich world, with incredible potential. The Fermentis R&D and Fermentis Academy teams produce innovative and ground-breaking results year after year. The copywriter will have the opportunity to make this research available to our customers, write exciting new product announcements, come up with a tagline for a new solution.
There is a lot of diversity in the actual underlying information that needs to be shared, but also in the types of content (scales of technicality or ‘salesiness’ etc.)
Typical missions would be:
- Writing all the content for new products: tagline, short description, long description, press release, key bullet points,
- Writing news articles
- Writing or reviewing social media posts
- Producing documents such as a 10 page-brochure
- Producing interviews
- Producing web pages on specific topics
Besides producing copy content, you also manage content projects from A to Z, meaning working alongside a graphic designer, or managing agencies to produce documents, articles, brochures, booklets…
Qualifications
You have a master’s degree in copywriting, communications or equivalent, and 3 to 5 years’ experience as a copywriter or content project manager in an international environment. As a result, you’ve developed a real expertise and passion for writing and content in general.
Your fluency in English (working language) enables you to think and write spontaneously in English as well as a native or to be English-native per se.
You know how to handle simultaneous projects through to completion.
Autonomous, organized, and rigorous, you enjoy sharing and working as part of a team and are able to demonstrate creativity and initiative in carrying out your projects.
Your curiosity, enthusiasm and openness enable you to understand our world and its scientific and technical aspects to produce content that is accessible to our customers.
