The candidate will advise the R&D team, and draft contracts for the transfer of biological material, provision of services, collaboration, contract manufacturing, confidentiality and negotiate and draft collaborative contracts (consortiums, FUI etc.)
- Legal general practices for Lesaffre B.U./regions
In general, advising the BU/region's operational teams and management in your area of expertise by guaranteeing the legal compliance of the Lesaffre BU/region's projects with regard to the legislation in force and the legal security of the company's relations with third parties.
Supporting the operational teams in charge of the Lesaffre BU/region's activities. Analysing, drafting and negotiating any type of contracts related to a project (such as commercial & distribution, purchase, R&D), from the first stage to the signature of contracts.
Negotiating, analyzing, following up, drafting, validating all types of legal documents in these areas and manage related litigation.
- Training Lesaffre’s employees, and creation of templates; the candidate will know how to convince operational people and to draft & communicate legal solutions easy to understand for operational people
The candidate will be reporting to the legal manager for Legal General Practice.
Education: at least Bac + 5 (level of Master II in law).
Professional experience of at least 5 years, ideally in a legal department of the food, pharmaceutical or chemical industry.
Fluency in English is essential.
The candidate is organized, pragmatic, rigorous and have an analytical and synthetic mind. He/She likes to work in a team and have good interpersonal skills. He/She knows how to listen to your internal business partners and has business-oriented solutions. He/She has the ability to work under pressure with short deadlines. His/her writing skills and reactivity will be essential assets to succeed in this position.
