Your Mission 🚀

At Lesaffre Zimbabwe’s yeast production facility, you will be the key technical link between Lesaffre’s MEA (Middle East & Africa) team and the local site. With limited automation and huge potential for improvement, this is the perfect setting to gain hands-on experience in the full yeast production process.

🔬 Optimize production processes (fresh & dry yeast) and utility operations
📈 Implement continuous improvement initiatives in lean manufacturing, quality, and safety
🛠 Provide technical support to local teams and ensure knowledge transfer
📊 Analyze data and develop process improvements
🤝 Facilitate communication between Lesaffre Zimbabwe and Lesaffre MEA
🏭 Support plant upgrades and automation projects

Qualifications

Your Profile 👩‍🔬👨‍🔬
🎓 Degree in Chemical or Food Engineering (or related field)
💬 Fluent in English (spoken & written)
⚙ Strong understanding of unitary processes
🔒 Basic knowledge of safety standards
🤲Hands-on approach—you love being on the production floor
👥 Adaptable, proactive, and a great communicator

💡 Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
✔ Experience in a production environment
✔ Knowledge of GMP standards
✔ Data analysis & visualization skills
