What will your daily life look like?
The General Manager is responsible for managing operational, financial, HR, commercial and supply chain departments. Driving the Company’s development, and ensuring its profitability. He/She:
- Defines a strategy that complies with the strategy deployed at Group and regional level, to drive long-term business growth.
- Organises and optimises resources to meet strategic requirements and achieve the stated objectives
- Leads Country’s teams and develop their potential.
- Guarantees compliance with Group decisions, policies, governmental regulation and fundamentals as regards sales, industry, social policy, management, safety, and environmental protection.
- Ensuring good customer service and customer satisfaction
- Acts as the Companies’ legal representative.
Key Accountabilities
- Defines and proposes a sales and marketing, industrial, financial and HR strategy that complies with the strategy deployed at Group and regional level.
- Leads the preparation of corporation-wide activity plans and budgets in line with the strategic goals and priorities; evaluates and propose for approval of the preparation phases with relevant high-level executives; and ensures the implementation of the approved plans and the budget.
- Deploys the Company strategy:
- Optimizes and adapts resources and organizational structures
- Coordinates budget compilation with members of the Company’s management board, and presents consolidated budgets to the Regional Director
- Identifies and leverages in-house synergies, coordinates efforts to reduce costs (energy, materials, etc.) and drives ongoing improvements in performance
- Guarantees business profitability, sets high expectations and coordinates team performance. Researching and identifying growth opportunities.
- Tailor management reports to requirements
- Monitors the financial and operational performance indicators regularly and ensures the execution of necessary corrective and constructive activities. To hold the responsibility for the results of the company’s executive performance. Supervises the planning of the company’s fund and cash flow and ensure the taking of financial decisions.
- Coordinates and develops Company teams:
- Constitutes and leads the Company management board
- Implements an organizational and management structure that promotes accountability and initiative, and supports the development of team members’ business, inter-personal and managerial skills
- Ensures a safe, healthy working environment, promotes teamwork, performance, dialogue, and employee engagement
- Works in line with sectoral rules and regulatory regulations including health, safety, and environmental prevention.
- HSE: supports the actions for Safety / Health & Environment according to the Group Statements to maintain or obtain new certifications.
- Promotes career development within the Company, identifies potential experts and Group leaders, defines, and implement appropriate career development plans with the Group HR department

That makes you the ideal candidate
Business or Engineering Degree.
Minimum 10 years of experience in a management position / general management / commercial management.
Successful experience in sales and industrial area.
High competencies in Management and Finance, knowledge of production & sales management is also necessary and required.
Fluent in English, French is a plus
