Job description
Our production site in Ethiopia has limited automation and a lot of room for improvement. Its scale and potential for enhancement make it an ideal environment to learn about the production process.
Reporting to the technical manager, your role is to focus on process-related tasks while also supporting areas such as lean, quality, and safety. Responsibilities include ensuring smooth communication between parties, overseeing and executing work plans, while providing technical support.
The limited technical expertise in our production staff requires a skilled on-site individual to support the technical manager in accelerating the factory’s operational improvements.
You propose and study improvement actions (quality, food safety, productivity, reliability, health and safety on site).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in food processing with at least 3 years of experience in the food industry
- Knowledge on bakery products is a plus.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Knowledge of safety standards
- Skills in data analysis
- Good computer skills: Office 365
- Familiar with project management
