ECHO more than a solidarity program at Lesaffre
more than a solidarity program at Lesaffre" aria-hidden="true">Since 2019, ECHO has been one of the tools at the service of our mission “Working together to better nourish and protect the planet”. As a responsible local economic player, we are committed to solidarity actions that respond to societal and environmental challenges, making our skills, networks and other resources available to associations to contribute to a better world.
As a responsible local economic player, Lesaffre is involved in solidarity projects around 3 major axes: education, food-nutrition and environment.
A strong and sincere commitment
Thanks to our network of 70 ECHO Correspondents around the world, we reach out to all collaborators who wish to get involved with us in the service of local communities.
Several forms of commitment are offered, to best fit everyone’s skills and availability: ECHO correspondent, ambassador, project leader or contributor. They all aim to energize and promote the program internally and contribute to realizing the projects.
It’s important to establish a close, collaborative relationship with the associations working in the field, to go beyond a simple financial donation by making our skills, our network and our desire to make an impact available to them.
Every year, we celebrate this commitment with an internal event – ECHO Charity Day – dedicated to those who, in one way or another, invest in local communities: it’s by sharing their experience that the unique spirit of our ECHO program spreads to our colleagues across 5 continents.
Being part of this race was an incredibly rewarding experience. I feel a great sense of accomplishment for contributing this way to the success of this fund raising. I even found myself becoming a reporter in the field! I never would have thought I’d have this much fun as part of my job!
